In the name of God Amen, I William MUNCKTON of the parish of Haslebury Briant in the County of Dorset, Yeoman, being in perfect memory and remembrance, do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament, in manner and form following. Firstly I give and bequeath unto my son John MUNCKTON the sum of five shillings of lawful money of England. I give unto Frances MUNCKTON the sum of five shillings. I give unto William MUNCKTON the sum of five shillings. I give unto Thomas MUNCKTON the sum of five shillings. I give unto Edward MUNCKTON the sum of five shillings. I give unto Ann MUNCKTON the sum of five shillings. Likewise all the rest of my estate in Compton Abby and whatsoever I dye possessed of, I give unto my beloved wife Frances MUNCKTON during her natural life and after her decease, to my son John MUNCKTON, he paying to every brother and sister that shall be then living twenty shillings yearly and every year so long as he shall live and that after my wife's decease, all the goods and chattles whatsoever that shall be then found shall be equally divided amongst those brothers and sisters that shall be then living. And I do hereby constitute, nominate and appoint my beloved wife, Frances MUNCKTON, sole Executrix to this my Last Will and Testament revoking all other Wills and testaments whatsoever. On the 25th June 1785 this Will of William MUNCKTON deceased was proved by the oath of Frances MUNCKTON, the widow of the deceased and sole Executrix above named to whom Administration of all and singular the goods, chattels and credits of the deceased was granted, she being first duly sworn faithfully to Administer the same to exhibit a true and perfect inventory thereof into the Registry of the Archdeacon of Dorset and render a just account thereon when thereto lawfully required. |
