This is the last Will and Testament of me William How of
Marnhull in the County of Dorset Labourer made this the Twenty Second
Day of July in the year of our Lord one Thousand seven Hundred and Eighty two
and is as follows first I do hereby disanull and make void all former and other
Wills and Testaments at any time heretofore Willed or made by me and as to
my Lands Tenements Heredements Goods Chattles and Credits I give and
dispose of the same as herein after is mention'd that is First I give and bequeath
unto my Brother Morgan How and my Sister Hester How my House Orchard and Garden
situate lying and being in Burton Street in the Parish of Marnhull to be equally
divided between them share and share alike but my desire is that my Sister Hest
How shall have the New House and Orchard and for her to live in and enjoy at her pleasure
and likewise my Sister Mary Jarvis the leave abiding to live in the sd House with
my Sister Hester How Item I give and bequeath to my Sister Mary Jarvis two Guineas
Item I give and bequeath unto my Cousin Phillis Jarvis two Guineas Item I give
and bequeath unto my Sister Sarah Warren two Guineas Item I give and bequeath
unto my Sister Anne Warren two Guineas to be paid them by my Executor or
Executrix within twelve Months after my decease Item I give and bequeath
unto my Brother Morgan How three Pipe Barrels three Hogshead Barrells
the Cider Mill and Gregs half Hhd? Kittle an Oak Chest and my Silver Watch
Item I give and Bequeath unto my Cousin James Jarvis my Clock all
the rest and remainder of my goods I give and bequeath unto my Sister
Mary Jarvis for her own proper use Item I give and bequeath unto my Mother
Sarah How one Shilling and Sixpence Week during her Life to be paid by my Sister Hester
How out of her half Share of the House and to commence at the time of my
Decease Also I make constitute and appoint my Brother Morgan How
and my Sister Hester How whole and Sole Executor and Executrix of this my last Will and Testament In Witness thereof I the said William How
have to this my last Will and Testament hereunto set my Hand and Seal
