This is the last Will and Testament of me Alice ROBERTS of Dorchester in the County of Dorset Widow made and published this four and twentieth day of October One Thousand seven hundred and thirteen.



Impremis: [In the first place] I give abd devise unto my son William ROBERTS my Cisterne belonging to my Malthouse the Grate belonging to the Kiln and the haire cloath

Item: All the rest of my goods and chattles rights and creditts I devise unto my daughters Joane, Susanna, Elizabeth and Judith to be equally divided between then share and share alike whom I make joint Executrixes and residuary Legatees of this my last Will and Testament

Lastly: I devise to be buryed as was my late husband as may be in the Churchyard of St Peters Church in Dorchester aforesaid with a desent funeral

Genealogical Notes:-

(1). Alice ROBERTS was buried at St Peters Church Dorchester 27th October 1713

(2). Although the original Probate does not give a year this will was copied into a continuous register at a later date when the year of probate was given as 1716 images of both the original and copy are available on ancestry.com to view.
