©Transcribed by Michael Russell OPC for Fordington - March 2012 This is the last Will and Testament of me David MORGAN of Dorchester in the County of Dorset Victualler made and published this twenty ninth day of September in the year of our Lord Christ one thousand seven hundred and forty one
Item: I give unto Anne MORGAN my daughter the sum of Ten Pounds to be paid unto her by my Executrix within one year next after my decease
All the Rest & Residue: of my Goods Chattles and Personal Estate Whatsoever I give and bequeath unto Anne my wife whom I make and appoint Executrix of this my Will
Witness my hand and Seale the day and year first above written

Signed Sealed published and declared by the said David MORGAN the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us Samual GOULD James MASTERMAN Nicholas STICKLAND Proved: 25th April 1744 The within written Will of David MORGAN late of Dorchester deceased was proved on the Oath of Ann MORGAN Widow and Executrix named in the siad Will to whom Administration of All and Singular the Goods Chattles Rights and Credits of the said deceased was granted, She being first sworn on the Holy Evanagelists well and faithfully to Administer the same and exhibit into the archdeacons Court and perfect Inventory of all and Singular the said Goods etc and pass a just account thereon when thereunto by Law required Before us John WALKER Genealogical Notes:- (1). David MORGAN was buried at St Georges Church Fordington on 29th January 1743/4(2). I have not so far (2012) been able to locate any other information about him or his relationship to other members of the Morgan Family in Dorchester & Fordington. |
