Richard FUDGE (1773-1836) was baptised at FStG on 17 Apr 1775, the 6th of 13 children of Jonathan FUDGE (1735/6 -1812) by his wife Mary LOCK (1742-1815). He was buried at Holy Trinity Church in Dorchester on 1st March 1836 when his age was given as 50 years [actually 63?] and recorded as Richard FUDGE of Pease Lane. Despite the age discrepancy I have assumed this is the correct Richard FUDGE as his daughter Sarah FUDGE married in 1839 when she gave here residence as being Pease Lane and the occupation of her father to be that of a butcher. |
