Thomas LENINGTON of the parish of Tyneham in the Isle of Purbeck was buried at Holy Trinity Church in Dorchester in Dorset on 19th October 1660. Hardly any of the 17th Century and earlier Parish Registers have survived for Tyneham itself. The reference to Eggleston should be to 'Egliston' which was originally a manor and a small hamlet but now consisting of 2 farms in the parish of Tyneham in Dorset. |
