(2.2) The 1650 Survey of Fordington Manor refers to Richard BARTLETT holding by a copyhold grant dated 2nd Oct 1620 a tenement and a farthinghold plot containing 3 roods of Meadow and 17 acres of arable land in Fordington Fields and gives his age as being about 50 which would make him born c1600 when Fordington Baptism registers are missing. |
