Although this parish register is very badly water damaged on re-examination using enlarged and inverted images the last letter of the Christian name may well be a 'y' for Henry. If this is correct Henry was born c1575 and about 62 years old. His will was proved on 3rd Oct 1662 9th to 26th Dec 1661 - John RASKER (d.1661) of Fordington left a Will dated 9th Dec 1661 in which he states "I doe order and appoynt to be buried in the Church yard where both my ffather [missing text] lyeth" and an Inventory of his goods taken after his death on 26th Dec 1661. |
